Geoff Carr
I am a Partner, based in the London office, and have over 20 years experience of all aspects of running occupational pension schemes and advising Trustees and employers.
I head up the firm’s Investment Consultancy Practice having joined in 2002 after working for Hymans Robertson for 11 years and 3 years as a self employed consultant.
However, the Pope Anderson ethos of being a ‘well rounded’ consultant means that I still keep my hand in on other areas by continuing to advise clients on all aspects of employee benefits packages. I am also responsible for a small portfolio of long standing full service clients drawing together the various disciplines to ensure their smooth and efficient running.
As well as being a member of the Faculty of Actuaries, I also have a Diploma in Actuarial Techniques and a postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Science, following on from a Maths and Statistics first degree.
In my spare time I am often to be found ‘re-landscaping’ my local golf course. Visiting nice restaurants and attempting to cook posh food are also quite high up on my hobby list but I counteract this by ‘owning’ a cross-trainer and a shiny, as new, bicycle!
