Ian Pope
I am the Senior Partner and am based in the London office. I joined the Company in 1994 after 12 years at Hymans Robertson.
I have over 28 years experience consulting on UK pensions and have particular expertise in providing proactive advice to trustees on investment and funding issues.
I hold around 15 direct Scheme Actuary appointments as well as specific investment consultancy appointments and company actuarial appointments (to review the actuarial advice provided to the Trustees by the Scheme Actuary).
I am a keen golfer (but struggle to improve on my 16 handicap) and also relax by walking in the Surrey hills, aiming to complete the North Downs Way from Farnham to Canterbury in time for my elder daughter’s graduation at the Cathedral in 2011. I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 daughters, particularly at our apartment overlooking the south east coast of Mallorca.
