Pope Anderson Achieves Excellence
As a Bacs Approved Bureau, Pope Anderson is required to undergo a detailed inspection every three years to ensure that we continue to provide a service that meets strict criteria.
Following our last inspection that was carried out in October 2011, we are pleased to report that Pope Anderson has achieved an “Excellent” rating across each of the disciplines covered by the inspection. These include the security of the Sheffield office from which our Bacs operations are handled and the security and resilience of our IT infrastructure.
Commenting on the outcome of the latest inspection, Simon Maxwell, Partner, said “Since we were first approved as a Bacs bureau in 2002, we have continued to make improvements to our Bacs operations, and we are delighted to have achieved the highest rating for every discipline. It will be of comfort to our clients and scheme members that we meet the highest standards required by Bacs.”
In the last 12 months, Pope Anderson has made in excess of 100,000 Bacs payments, totalling almost £50 million.

Pope Anderson is pleased to announce their move to new premises on Sheffield Business Park.
Having had a presence in Sheffield for over 10 years, the office at 12 o’clock Court has been outgrown and it is time for new scenery.
The new office is conveniently situated near Junctions 33 and 34 of the M1 Motorway with Sheffield city centre just 4 miles away, it provides our staff with a highly modern and spacious office in which to work, and an even more professional environment for our clients.
