Pension Administration

Pope Anderson provides a full range of administration services from our dedicated administration service centre in Sheffield.

Our clients’ schemes range from small DC arrangements with minimal assets through to defined benefit schemes with over 15,000 lives and assets in excess of £300 million.

 

As in everything we do, we provide bespoke services to every client, working with Trustees and employer payroll/pension departments to formulate procedures that make the best fit with current in house expertise. 

 

Our administration teams are involved with all aspects of service delivery, from maintaining the scheme database, to carrying out calculations, processing annual renewals and monthly pension payrolls and contributions, and being the people members speak to.  Working in this way, rather than different aspects of each scheme’s administration being handled by different teams, means that there is a dedicated team of people who are on hand to deal with all scheme enquiries.

 

We provide the full range of administration services which include: -

 

  • Membership record keeping.
  • Benefit calculations and payments, including electronic payments (Pope Anderson is a BACS approved bureau).
  • Regulatory reporting including e-filing.
  • Full cash and accounting services.
  • Drafting of annual report and accounts.
  • Data audits and data cleansing exercises.

 

Some clients prefer us to take on the front-line role responding to member queries directly and effectively acting as their pensions department.  We are happy to do so and in these and other circumstances we can provide a dedicated hotline and email addresses for scheme members to use.
