Our People
Pope Anderson is owned entirely by its five partners. Ian Pope, Paul Anderson and Geoff Carr based in London, and Simon Maxwell and Steve Ellul in Sheffield.
The actuarial, consultancy and investment teams are led by Ian Pope (Senior Partner) and Geoff Carr with a further five qualified actuaries and four consultants working alongside them. In addition the team includes a gaggle of actuarial students of varying levels from new graduates to those on the brink of qualification. Between them they cover the actuarial and investment consulting and research functions.
Simon Maxwell and Steve Ellul work alongside Paul Anderson (Managing Partner), who has overall responsibility for the Sheffield-based administration centre, which has around 30 members of staff.
