Trustee Training

With ever-increasing requirements under the Pensions Act 2004 relating to trustee knowledge and understanding (TKU), it is important that individual trustees receive proper training to help them fulfil their duties.

Training can take a variety of forms.  From attendance at regular trustee meetings, to Pope Anderson’s regular Current Topics Seminars, The Pension’s Regulator’s e-learning tools and other industry related courses.

Where more specific training is required, Pope Anderson recognises that a ‘one size fits all’ approach to trustee training is not always appropriate; most trustees will have different levels of experience and expertise.  By working with you in advance enables us to design and plan training courses to target the areas that are of specific interest to you.

We run courses for new trustees and also refreshers for old hands.

We ensure that our sessions are bespoke to your scheme with its unique characteristics, rules and balance of powers issues.
